Nkomo Posted December 27, 2010 Author Share #26 Posted December 27, 2010 It doesn't look like BlackHawk (I work for BH), but it's pretty old and could be. I can check some archived catalogs to see. (Stitching doesn't look like ours - we double needle stitch all trim tape, but it might be an older style that may have done that.) I assure you that black was and is still in demand by military units both in the US and internationally. Thanks for the reply!!!!
Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted February 24, 2016 Share #27 Posted February 24, 2016 Old thread, sorry if I bother anybody by bumping it. I thought this was interesting, and while I have not seen a picture of SF wearing it, here is a picture of a soldier from SFOD-D wearing a Load Bearing Vest in Mogadishu, Somalia 1993
Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted February 24, 2016 Share #28 Posted February 24, 2016 Another of one, possible the soldier in the above picture's on a cot.
Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted February 24, 2016 Share #29 Posted February 24, 2016 The guy on the left has one aswell. It's not too far fetched to think that SFOD-D got some made in black later on, they clearly like the LBV, it wouldn't be hard for them to get the Lc-1 suspenders instead. Could you take a few more photos of the first vest if convenient?
