Is this original WWII paratrooper parachute material?

Matt 1941

Is this original WWII paratrooper parachute material? Bought off eBay from a Militaria dealer the said the were 100% original and I some how dont think so.

The early parachutes should have tan/brown thread.  Post war early 50’s dated canopy’s I have noticed white thread.

50’s on the left, early 40’s on the right.  I’m not sure when they switched colors. I could be wrong this just what I have noticed from canopy’s I have acquired.

I’m no expert but I believe the type of material you have there is “rip stop nylon” you can see all the little squares in the material.  Mid 1950’s is when they started to use the rip stop, but I don’t know an exact year.
