Jason G Posted February 11, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 11, 2009 My initial first impression is neither, probably for a civilian band. In the early 1900's many towns had their own bands, it was a big deal. Most of them fell to the wayside by the early 1950's, but some continue to this day (very few). I'd guess this was a "so many years of service" ribbon for one of those.
Lee Ragan Posted February 11, 2009 Share #3 Posted February 11, 2009 What kind of uniform is this pinned on? That might help solve the puzzle. It sure is distinctive tho. I've never seen a ribbon attachmenmt like that.
MAW Posted February 11, 2009 Share #4 Posted February 11, 2009 Initial impression is that I doubt that it's military; but who knows.
