All three designs posted here are attributed to the 548thBombSqdn(H) during WWII. The B-17 & thunderbolt was the official emblem of this

unit, however the design with Bug's Bunny riding a bomb was unofficially selected to represent the squadron shortly after deployment to England.

My problem is with the 3rd design depicting a hare wearing a blue sweater and riding a bomb. This was a Disney design (Hank Porter I believe)

dating purportedly from sometime between Dec. 1942 to Jun. 1943, but I have not found anything to confirm this.

I'm hoping Disney Dave or someone else on this forum night have some additional information of this insignia design?
