binocular repair

anybody here have any ideas who does repair work on ww2 bino's ?,i have set of ww2 7X50 navy i would like to get lined up and cleaned and get an eyecup replaced but i have not been able to find anybody,used to be a guy on the east coast that did it but he retired,anybody got a lead?

This company I know repaired binocuars once, might be worth a call.

I don't know where you live, but I've had a pair of German and a pair of American binoculars cleaned and collimated at Advance Camera in Portland, Oregon. It's been 3 or 4 years, but each cost about $60 and took a couple of weeks.

If you use them, be sure to tell them if you don't want them to repaint your binoculars. They repainted my original finish German binoculars without me asking them to.

 

If you live in or near a large city, you might check the camera repair ads in the yellow pagest o see it anyone in your area also repairs binoculars.
