Still learning...

Came across this and picking up later in the week. Only pics I have atm.

Is this a unmodified M44 cargo pack? Found some older threads around topic but did not want to raise zombies.

Thank you

Appreciate the feedback. Will add some better pics, once in hand. Do the upper/combat M44 packs show up often? Probably going to need one.

I have a decent one that is complete to sell. Drop me a line if interested.

I have always had a hard time finding M1944 uppers or lowers that hadn't been officially modified, or otherwise missing parts. The QR tabs on the cargo pack often seem to be incomplete.

Wanted to get pics in natural light but pouring the rain.
Initially was only picking up the 1944 cot but asked seller if he had any additional items. A few moments later, I received pics of the M44 lower pack. Didn't know what it was until after doing some forum sleuthing.
Really appreciate and enjoy reading through the wealth of historical information shared here.

Thanks Ken; believe I came across that in one of the older threads I read through. Any details on the pic?
I do love my Carbines!

Thanks to Andrew, have an unmodified upper on the way to go along with it.

Ruhr offensive, eastern bank (crossed), some soldiers are still wearing their life belts, 9th army, February 1945.

A pretty rare pic of the entire combined pack in action!
