TMCA05 Posted July 11, 2021 Share #1 Posted July 11, 2021 I have a white mess dress female uniform with a black skirt. It has Cadet U.S.M.A. buttons on it. Makers tag inside is from Cadet Store West Point. It has two Navy type shoulder boards well attached to it on the shoulders. Any idea as to what they are? David Minton Posted July 11, 2021 Share #2 Posted July 11, 2021 My guess is fourth year engineering cadet from United States Merchant Marine Academy.
TMCA05 Posted July 11, 2021 Author Share #3 Posted July 11, 2021 I think your guess is correct. I just found it under Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point. It's a Dual Program (Dualie) from the 1990's that has since been deleted. The jacket and skirt are named and I just found her name listed as a graduate of the USMMA. I will not post details since she is probably still around.
TMCA05 Posted July 12, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted July 12, 2021 OK, I found her. I am not putting out the name. She one of the first cadets allowed in a Military Academy 1974-1978. She was in the Merchant Marine Academy but they did not have female uniforms yet, so they had to get uniforms from nearby West Point.
