A good week for woman's stuff

This was a pretty good week for me as a collector of woman's military items.

First up, I got in the shop a named Army Nurse footlocker grouping from a woman that served in WWII with the 20th general hospital, and stayed in into the 1950's. several uniforms, dresses, nurse outfits, and even her shoes.

Then I was contacted by the family of a US Navy aviator that flew helicopters - I was able to acquire her flight helmet and I am waiting on some photos and possible some other items from the family- as sadly she had passed.

Lastly I found a really neat Vietnam era Army Nurse corps table top cutout that had a Army nurse in Jungle boots and bush hat.

Strong and Brave women all!

I just noticed this thread.

That Vietnam era Army Nurse Corps cut out is a hoot and a holler.  Part of the campaigns that put a smiley face on all the recruiting photos, even while the war was still going on.  That is quite the period piece.  I am surprised they allowed the photo with the boonie hat, as the baseball cap was the standard.
