ram957 Posted July 8, 2021 Share #2 Posted July 8, 2021 It's been my experience that when an item has Silver Hallmarks, it's usually an English piece..
5thwingmarty Posted July 8, 2021 Share #3 Posted July 8, 2021 Is the L-I possibly for Lordship Industries? Also, I would not necessarily say this is a B-25. It could represent any number of twin engine aircraft including some British designs if the pin is from the UK.

bschwartz Posted July 8, 2021 Share #5 Posted July 8, 2021 This is still the best resource for British marks IMHO - https://www.925-1000.com/british_marks.html Takes a bit of digging around but a wealth of information on this site.

MikeK Posted July 9, 2021 Share #7 Posted July 9, 2021 L-I is the maker's mark 925 indicates Sterling the 3rd stamp is a London Import mark applied to foreign silver The Q is for 1951 So from the hardware and STERLING stamp, I'm guessing US made, but imported into the UK in 1951.
