tony75 Posted July 7, 2021 Share #1 Posted July 7, 2021 Hello I found these wings together and can not find anything about them except the American legion wings look to be pre-ww2? The Am Legion wings are maker marked , hard to read because they are worn . I could not find another with a eagle just the typical blue round type. The other pair of wings (S) ask me I have no idea no markings anywhere that I can see. Toy wings? Thank you Tony
manayunkman Posted July 7, 2021 Share #2 Posted July 7, 2021 The Ask Me wing looks like it could be from a store service rep?
Tesla Posted July 7, 2021 Share #3 Posted July 7, 2021 The American Legion wings were manufactured by Whitehead and Hoag and are pre 1965. They made pins and badges for many fraternal organizations and some of their work is highly sought after. The Ask Me wings could be late 1800's to mid 20th century but my opinion is they would be around the 20's or 30's. Unfortunately they could be for just about anything. Whitehead made Delegate badges for the UCV and this could be something similar.
