A small printed card labeled "This quarter will buy 12 bullets." There are two slits in the card, which will hold a quarter. Merchants would apparently insert a quarter from a customer's change, hoping to stir their interest in buying a war savings stamp. The place I found this one had a half dozen more of the same.
