The following items belonged to the former USAF Commander of the 1st Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron (AES). The 1st AES was deployed to support Operation Just Cause in December 1989.  According to an article dated January 3, 1990 from The Tropic Times, the 1st Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron was a 66 person team from Pope AFB, N.C.  The Unit consisted of a triage/advanced trauma life support area, two forward surgical teams, and the AES aeromedical staging facility.

The center photo is from the mobile Aeromedical Staging Facility (MASF No. 1.  The MASF prepared wounded service members for flights to military facilities in the U.S.

A closer look of the Operation Just Cause banner in the frame, seems like the banner is made on a white cloth.  Similar to a handkerchief.
