dmar836 Posted June 30, 2021 Share #3 Posted June 30, 2021 I have two D-1s. They both survived a bit better but not by much and surely not better than my B-3s. It's funny, even in period photos they already look worn out. Dave
BMc Posted June 30, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted June 30, 2021 Thanks, dmar836. Since you own a couple any advice on pricing this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Brian

dmar836 Posted July 1, 2021 Share #6 Posted July 1, 2021 Without functioning zippers they just don't bring much. They are commonly found this way. You might be able to clean them up as representative examples but that adds a lot of time and careful effort with little financial gain. Plus the blown out areas indicate the shearling is likely rotted. Still , I bet you could make it look a lot better. I would use a lanolin based soap and oil. I generally don't advocate lots of oiling, etc. but there is little to lose here I'm afraid. Dave
