MAGTF 3rd SRIG patch

I purchased this MAGTF (Marine Air Ground Task Force) 3rd SRIG (Surveillance Reconnaissance Inteligence Group) patch on eBay recently which appears to be some sort of a USMC clearing center for intelligence gathering coming in from different sources.   According to the Internet the 3rd SRIG was activated at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, in October of 1990.  These various sources of inteligence were described as from a Radio Battalion, ANGLICO, Force Reconnaissance, remotely piloted aircraft or drones, counterintelligence and other unnamed intelligence sources.
