T53 CANTEEN COVER

I picked this one up a few months ago.
Marked T53-7 QMC. This is one of the trial canteen covers used while testing the T53 pack.
Someone posted pictures of the entire T53 set but I was unable to find them.
Please re-post if you have them. The 1953 test set would evolve into the EX54 gear and then to the M1956 issued equipment.
I've never seen this type belt attachment before. It is a very simple wire type fastener.
The EX54 covers had a much sturdier clip.

I searched the forum database and even tried it through Google.  I found nothing on the T-53.  I did find the T-54 thread, but I'm sure you know about that one as you posted in it several times.

Thanks for taking time to share this canteen.  I learned something new today researching.

Ugh.  That is why we tell all our members to use the picture hosting option that we have here on the forum.  When people use outside hosting services, pictures get lost and threads lose content and context.

Cap Camouflage Pattern I

Very interesting, unlike many components of the EX-54 this looks to be exactly the same as the M1956 design except for the clips
