Any events (WWII reenactments or militaria) in Virginia this summer or fall?

Hey everyone,

Does anyone here know of any good WWII re-enactments/living history or militaria shows happening in Virginia this summer? I’m trying to go to more things in person but I don’t know where to start. As a relatively new WWII GI reenactor that doesn’t have a group yet, I’d like to register for some smaller living history events in particular.

If you know of or participate in some of these types of events, please let me know.

Thanks!

Slightly off the mark, but still relevant: the National Museum of the US Army at Ft. Belvoir is now open and it has a series of programs scheduled starting June 16th. https://www.thenmusa.org

Nice! I’m actually going there for my birthday!

That's great news, thanks! I can wait to see it when I get back that way.

The ASMIC militaria show is being held the first Sunday in August in Woodbridge.  It's a great little show and this is the first one in over a year - I highly recommend it.  You can find details in the Events forum.
