MinorInHistory Posted June 13, 2021 Share #1 Posted June 13, 2021 Hey everyone, Does anyone here know of any good WWII re-enactments/living history or militaria shows happening in Virginia this summer? I’m trying to go to more things in person but I don’t know where to start. As a relatively new WWII GI reenactor that doesn’t have a group yet, I’d like to register for some smaller living history events in particular. If you know of or participate in some of these types of events, please let me know. Thanks!
Cobra 6 Actual Posted June 13, 2021 Share #2 Posted June 13, 2021 Slightly off the mark, but still relevant: the National Museum of the US Army at Ft. Belvoir is now open and it has a series of programs scheduled starting June 16th. https://www.thenmusa.org

VMI88 Posted June 14, 2021 Share #5 Posted June 14, 2021 The ASMIC militaria show is being held the first Sunday in August in Woodbridge. It's a great little show and this is the first one in over a year - I highly recommend it. You can find details in the Events forum.
B-17Guy Posted September 23, 2021 Share #6 Posted September 23, 2021 The Airshow at Virginia Beach is coming up October 2-3 and that usually has a number of re-enactments/living history involved. https://militaryaviationmuseum.org/
