Years used, caliber, Military branch? Have not seen one of these and would like to know.

I'm wild guessing .38 revolver and Air Force?

That would be my guess. It would be kind of silly carrying 6 individual rounds on your belt for an automatic.

Yup. I put in the DSA number on Google but nothing has turned up yet. As far as I can tell, the number is DSA100-77-M-U910

The contract number would seem to indicate this was for a 1977 contract.

I would think maybe MPs or APs. If I recall correctly army female MPs toted .38s instead of 1911s.  I could be wrong.  SKIP

I just bought it from a guy I have bought stuff from before. He was an Air Force Security Police officer in the 70's and 80's. He has told me before he carried a .38 revolver at first.

Got it in. Very good condition and fits .38 perfectly.
