Iwo Jima Commemorative Colt 1911, #263 of 300

Hello all, 

This is not a service related piece exactly but still a neat 1911. Firearms are well outside of my area but this one is passing through my hands and I thought I would share it (with admin prior approval). It is not mine but it is staying with me for a few days. It belongs to a friend who inherited it and does not want it. It is a commemorative piece featuring scenes from Iwo Jima on the slide.

This piece is #263 of 300. I can post more pics if there are details that didn't show up clearly in the following photos.
