Bodes Posted June 7, 2021 Share #2 Posted June 7, 2021 I believe some were given out by the Higgins boat company who made them.....I have a tie clip with a PT boat on it, but agree these were non-official....Bodes
Flightpath Posted February 18, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted February 18, 2022 I´ve seen a film of USN personnel training at Elco, each officer had an Elco PT boat badge above their left shirt pocket, I´d like to get one but prices are crazy at the moment. numbersix Posted February 18, 2022 Share #5 Posted February 18, 2022 Vosper & Co were a Portsmouth (UK) based British boat maker, they made Motor Torpedo Boats during World War 2; some Vosper designed MTB were built in American shipyards during the War too.
