Scottz63 Posted June 2, 2021 Share #1 Posted June 2, 2021 Just bought this on-line. Not received yet. What is it for? 1911, M9 Beretta, or something else? Thanks, Scott

Scottz63 Posted June 10, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted June 10, 2021 I talked to the guy I bought it from yesterday. He was a member of the Air Force Security Police. He told me his unit went straight from .38 revolvers to M9 Beretta's and this was his issued holster with it. Guess I have to get a Beretta 92 to try it out. Lol. Scottz63 Posted June 10, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted June 10, 2021 So, is it for both the 1911 and the M9? I have been told both now.
Scottz63 Posted June 10, 2021 Author Share #7 Posted June 10, 2021 It does fit my Beretta 1951 nice though.
kwill Posted June 10, 2021 Share #8 Posted June 10, 2021 It was designed by Bianchi (but also made by Cathey) for the Beretta M9 for USAF security and law enforcement use specifically. The Air Force abandoned the M1911A1 in 1962 and this holster was not used/issued by the Army. (Source: U.S. Military Holster and Related Accoutrements by E. Scott Meadows.) EmperorWangDong Posted June 10, 2021 Share #9 Posted June 10, 2021 I was mistaken, got the USAF right but yes as states it appears to be for the M9.
