silverplate Posted May 23, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 23, 2021 Just added another interesting small arms ammo box to my collection. This time it's a 1924 Frankford Arsenal National Match 20-round box of .45ACP. I've seen post-war 50-round boxes of M1911 NM, but never a 1920s version in 20-rounds. Thought I would share with you cartridge collectors. It has a nicely marked label.
silverplate Posted May 23, 2021 Author Share #2 Posted May 23, 2021 Does anyone have other examples of the interwar .45 caliber National Match cartons that could post photos? There was a lot of label variations on the regular production cartons during that time period and was wondering if the NM labels did the same. silverplate Posted May 24, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted May 24, 2021 Thanks for the photos. That's a nice clean box as well. Good to see similar markings on the top.
