Bearmon Posted May 18, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 18, 2021 These are marked Balfour Sterling 1-B. The pins are the short ones. Could this be a WW 2 vintage wing
Tonomachi Posted May 18, 2021 Share #2 Posted May 18, 2021 Balfour used 1-B on their post war circa 1950s era insignia.

pfrost Posted May 18, 2021 Share #4 Posted May 18, 2021 Ditto to what Mr Tono said! Still a very nice wing and probably made using the same dies as WWII during the KW time period. I have always enjoyed the USN observer wings. Not very common (even as a post war badge) and a little bit more interesting than the plain anchor of the naval aviator badge (for my own taste).
