dunmore1774 Posted May 17, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 17, 2021 Just picked up these 2 trunks of USMC gear. From my initial scan, looks like this Marine was in service in late 1950s-1960s. Includes uniforms, P58 shirts, shelter halves and ponchos from WW2 and dated gear from 1961. The rain coat and overalls were with this gear. Not sure if they are military, but everything else in the trunks are military. Very little markings, just an ink stamp with numbers on coat and overalls. The overall strap buttons are the only ones marked with SUPERIOR and a bust of a man. And the size tag on the coat with a red S. Feels like a stiffer water proof material. Are they military or commercial dunk hunter camo? Thanks for any insight

Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted May 20, 2021 Share #3 Posted May 20, 2021 Hmm, plenty of Marines un Vietnam wore fairly similar PX rain gear, even some OD reversible to duck hunter. But I've never seen one like this before.
