posse Posted February 2, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 2, 2009 I recently added this one to my collection. Nothing special except for the fact that this note was signed by it's previous (?) owner. Clark L. Green (35579092) form Decatur, Indiana signed this note "somewhere in France" at the front. Green enlisted in January 1943... . The only info I have is what his Nara file tells me... Nothing more... Too bad. rgds Bart
mdk014 Posted February 3, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 3, 2009 Nice short snorter you found. These always make me wonder what was so important to sign these. Did they sign it to send home as a souvenir or did the date and time hold a special meaning.
