Happy to have it back where it belongs. The epic story of HOUSTON's glorious fight and loss in the early stages of the Pacific war has always been a fascination of mine. To reunite and own a group like this makes militaria collecting all very worthwhile. Thanks to MW for being being willing to part with it it and to Rocco for the heads up! I contacted the EBay seller and he forwarded my PM of interest to the Buyer who fortunately was a Forum member. R.I.P. PFC Kendrick! Semper Fi........Bobgee

February 28th will be the 71st anniversary of the sinking of the USS HOUSTON (CA-30) in the Battle of Sunda Strait, Java. Here's a photo of PFC Arlando W. Kendrick USMC from his SRB who died fighting aboard this heroic ship. "Lest We Forget". Semper Fi.......Bobgee
