Hello yokota57,

I have been following your thread about Marine lighters and noticed that you enjoyed seeing the above mug added to the thread.  Seeing that you have mentioned the ' First Marine Air Wing ' several times I hoped that you wouldn't mind me adding this First Marine Air Wing tour jacket.  This is a double sided jacket and on this side it mentions the K-3 field in Korea, I believe this was near Pohang in 1952.

Hi yokota57,

Many thanks for allowing me to post shots of this tour jacket, a great favourite of mine.  Here's both sides of it the blue side is a velvet material and a twill on the grey side. Originally it had the name JIM on the chest but this had been removed before I acquired it.

USMC / Marine Corps F-18 ‘Hornet’ / Japanese-made Marksman. Probably the late 1970s (when F-18 was introduced) – mid-1980s (when it was renamed to F/A-18), right?
