TAEHB is a post war marking (late 40s/50s) for rounds in bandoleers. Probably a KW era crate, though I don't think there is a real way to narrow down by specific lot code.

Your shipping box is from the 1950s. WCC lot numbers from WWII ended with 6427. Still a nice item with clear markings from a less common manufacturer.

I'm only a year late..  I have the same Army ammunition box with the same 6653 lot number, but mine has the original mailing label that says it went to a rifle and pistol club by Buffalo, NY from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA back when you could order amm

... accidentally hit submit...  Back when you could buy surplus rifles and ammunition right from the Army
