I found this Round at a Flea Market, can anyone identify this item.

The actual dimension is 40mm.

Unlikely that it is 37mm projectile.

57mm AP projectiles were marked on the bronze driving band, which is missing on your specimen.  An example of the marking would be "57G, M1 & 6 PDR, 7 CWT, " indicating it was for the 57mm Anti-tank gun developed in England and used by U.S. and U.K. forces in WW2.

However the biggest diameter is on 40 mm.
