Nkumburis Posted May 8, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 8, 2021 All, I hope your day went well. I recently picked up the following battalion colors (pictures below), I was hoping someone could help find the unit's history. Thanks again for the help. patches Posted May 13, 2021 Share #2 Posted May 13, 2021 They are both of the New Jersey National Guard dates unknown, but after 1963. Here's the 113th Infantry, the color here will be for the 3rd Battalion (See Small White Circle with 3 in it) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/113th_Infantry_Regiment_(United_States) The 50th Medical Battalion was originally the 119th Medical Battalion , it was in the 44th Division going back to the 1920s as the 119th Medical Regiment, downgraded as a battalion around 1942 and serves with the 44th Infantry Division in the ETO in WWII. Can't find concrete info, but believe the 119th Medical Battalion is redesignated sometime in the 1950s as the 50th Medical Battalion when the 50th Armored Division is formed in New Jersey,
