I was issued and handled all this mountaineering stuff in Alaska in 1981, never thought to look at the hallmarks and dates, but then I wasn't aware of this at that time on any of my uniforms and gear, the only one  I noticed was my plastic canteens, the bottoms, one of which had a 1966 date on it, it never occurred to me with all the other stuff 941386325_emoticonlaugh.png.8d14723decadf41ddf8411767f8ef4fd.png
