Here is a beautiful grouping from PFC James House who served with 70th ID. This is another very complete footlocker with many items from his prewar service with the Civilian Conservation Corps/National Guard through his time in Europe during the war. A large amount of paperwork and photos is included with this lot along with his uniform, mementos and various other items.

I purchased this grouping from the veterans grandson a couple years back but havent posted it before.

A really fine grouping.  Looks like one of the garrison caps is Civil Defense.  Everything compliments his military service.  What is the story on the drumsticks?

Thanks for sharing.
