USM4 Utica Bayonet

Hah - after picking up those two Camillus reproduction M4's, I was little wary of this one, it is another flea market find.

Hopefully not another reproduction. Blade looks awful in the picture, it's really not so bad in the flesh, just the finish has been worn in a way that looks like jagged metal it's not, and the leather although rough is still tight.

Misfit 45

Your WWII M4 is 100% legit.  It should have a nice starburst peen on the pommel.  The M8A1 scabbard is from the mid 60s, usually associated with the M7 bayonet, but used with anything that fit.

Agree with Marv!  The Utica is legit.  I have never heard or seen any UTICA knife reproduced.  SKIP

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback -

Yes, I quite like this one.

Starburst has been hammered a bit, but parts remain.

Supposedly was a Scout's knife and used for hammering.
