johnny12550 Posted April 25, 2021 Share #1 Posted April 25, 2021 Hi, Can anyone Tell me anything about these medals? They came with a Vietnam group named to Jonathan C. Shine. They look like new commercial type medals, but the mounting on the back is not what you commonly see. Are they just an older commercial type of medals from the 70s or 80s. ??? johnny12550 Posted April 25, 2021 Author Share #2 Posted April 25, 2021 BS , SS, PH medals and other medals with the group. I found that he was with the 25 infantry division and was KIA in Vietnam in 1970. He was a West Point Grad of 1969 and had a brother that was also KIA/ MIA
johnny12550 Posted April 25, 2021 Author Share #3 Posted April 25, 2021 Either the Vietnam medals I was thinking they were added by the family on a later date because he was entitled to them. They were also in the group some theater made medals. I know these are correct, just don’t know if the previous ones are commercial or maybe government issue from a while back???? 268th C.A. Posted April 25, 2021 Share #4 Posted April 25, 2021 The last three are in country made, Vietnam. Nice grouping. The top one has a trade mark of an H in a circle, maybe some one can identify the maker...
