Hi all,

As this is destined to be parted away, I thought I would post this here first.  The box belonged to an USMC Officer originally assigned to a tank battalion.  He was a competitive shooter and this was his range box.  You can see two of his pistols in the pictures.  A 1930 Colt New Service, a Hi-Standard S-101 Supermatic, and a Lend Lease Commercial 1911 with British marks (not in the picture).  Non of the guns had any USMC markings however.  The pistol rack shelf slides out and the lid has a spotting scope attached.  I also enjoy the USMC padlock used to lock the box.  I believe the EGA to be cast aluminum.

Very nice, that would look great with one of the those refurbed USMC 1911A1 rebuilds from the CMP. For some goofy reason I like these type of accessories.

The scope looks to be a "Saturn" marked scope. I can't remember where they were made at the moment.
