Got off of work this morning, had breakfast with a friend, then headed to the local flea market. Didn't look busy, but it's only a buck to get in so what the heck. GLAD I DID!! 

 

I love half tracks, and found this photo complete in its own cardboard folder in a pile. Soldier with an armored division triangle on his left breast, BUT... looking at the patch, the "yellow" portion is on the bottom, with the red on top. This doesn't seem right. The yellow portion should be on top, 

 

Painted hood number, ?.A.W. 401251? 

 

What do you all think? Where? , When? Looks cold in the picture.

Guessing stateside, early M2 with skate rail. Love the tracks with bows and tops. Nice pic

Found a second half track photo at the Alameda Peddlers Fair today. A little dark, but I saw the nose and put it in the pile!

In the first photo, the soldier looks to be armed with the M-1917 .45 cal. revolver and has the three pocket pouch for the 1/2 moon clips. Neat photo.
