damilitariaguy Posted April 17, 2021 Share #1 Posted April 17, 2021 Found this the other day in a pile of MOLLE pouches at the local surplus store and the straps caught my eye. Never seen those before and can't find any markings other the the "lift the dot" on the snaps, also find the pocket on the Inside interesting. Any help is appreciated!! atb Posted April 18, 2021 Share #2 Posted April 18, 2021 It is very likely a foreign military's version of the US cover.
McDermut99 Posted April 18, 2021 Share #3 Posted April 18, 2021 The straps and hardware on the back remind me of British/Commonwealth equipment. Not US issued but was probably designed to fit a US metal canteen.

Hi, it's post WWII Danish army a design combining American and British features . . . . . . . as most European armies post WWII bought up American and British surplus and also made their own equipment to be used with the surplus they bought. regards lewis .
