robinb Posted April 12, 2021 Share #1 Posted April 12, 2021 Finally had a nice sunny day here. Perfect for taking pictures of my latest display. The mule is still lacking some of the harness parts, but I'm looking for them. M1917 ammunition cart with a 1933 dated M1 Wheeled Machinegun Mount limbered to it. This is correct for the mid 1930's until the beginning of WW2.

Charlie Flick Posted April 12, 2021 Share #3 Posted April 12, 2021 Another great looking rig, Robin. Here are some pre-war 1st Infantry Division machine gunners with your cart and gun.
12thengr Posted April 12, 2021 Share #4 Posted April 12, 2021 As usual, excellent display and nearly impossible to find items. It does remind me a bit of some of the equipment we used in the warehousing industry though; "But where does the operator sit?" Again, great display, thanks Robin. Okie96 Posted October 14, 2021 Share #8 Posted October 14, 2021 How do have that many wood Ammo boxes!? Very cool though but it would be cooler with tracers leaving the barrel.
Taber10 Posted October 14, 2021 Share #9 Posted October 14, 2021 Robin, Great display. Thanks for sharing. The box actually feeding the MG is rarer--harder to obtain--than all the others together. Taber

robinb Posted December 27, 2022 Author Share #17 Posted December 27, 2022 Excellent photo! Most interesting are the two RL-16 Reel Carts at far right and the Model of 1916 37mm Infantry Gun in the center. And it looks like two of the machineguns are mounted on anti-aircraft tripods. collector Posted January 4, 2023 Share #18 Posted January 4, 2023 Robin, Thought you might like to see these carts. This is a picture taken by my father (one of a hundred) taken in 1941, I believe in August during his officer training at maybe Quantico (could be New River/ Camp Lejeune). The officer is not named.
