Tonomachi Posted April 11, 2021 Share #1 Posted April 11, 2021 I found a number of color photographs of the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services (DACOWITS) members mounted on thick 14" x 11" sections of cardboard at the flea market this morning. There was also a signed photograph of Norman S. Paul (23 Mar 1919 - 30 Mar 1978) who was United States Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs from January 25, 1961 to June 30, 1962; Assistant Secretary of Defense for Force Management Policy from August 8, 1962 to September 30, 1965; and United States Under Secretary of the Air Force from October 1965 to September 1967. In addition there was a signed photograph of the Commandant Wallace Martin Greene Jr. (27 Dec 1907 - 8 Mar 2003) who was Commandant of the Marine Corps from 1 Jan 1964 through 31 Dec 1967. There was also a photograph of probably a civilian member of DACOWITS whose name is hard to read but looks like Roger Kelley. I don't know if these photographs were on the wall of a room at the Pentagon or maybe a number of different DOD installations that are nearby like the Defense Language Institute, US Naval Post Graduate School, Fort Ord, Fort Hunter Liggett or Camp Roberts which are situated in Monterey County, California.
