aznation Posted April 3, 2021 Share #3 Posted April 3, 2021 Do you know where the sword originates from, like what city and/or state it was obtained? Also, is it a fraternal sword vs. military and can you show a full length pic of it? Below is the reason I ask. Thank you. There's a person named Roger Dean Pittelko who was a Reverend but I haven't found any military connection with this individual. Roger was from El Reno, OK but he died in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Dmitry the Great Posted April 3, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted April 3, 2021 Thank you for possibly solving the gothic script! The sword is a Model 1902 Army officer's type. I suppose the reverend could've gone to a military school, or belonged to a fraternal organization. The name etching looks factory-applied. Ricasso is marked N.S. Meyer Inc. COLONIAL. I may still be correct on the last name though. 11 hours ago, Spathologist said: NVM What's NVM?

I thought that's what it meant but wasn't sure. Appreciate it.
