Tonomachi Posted April 2, 2021 Share #1 Posted April 2, 2021 Here is an interesting jump wing where someone butchered a post war sterling clutch back basic jump wing made by the Military Post Suppliers Company. They shaved off the outer layer of feathers off of the wings, removed the clutch back pins and soldered on a pin back assembly. It is being sold as a post war paratrooper wing but my guess is that the original intent of the person who did this was to try and fool collectors into thinking this was a WW2 era piece in an attempt to increase its value. https://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIG-US-ARMY-VIETNAM-1965-67-MILITARY-POST-SUPPLY-STERLING-AIRBORNE-JUMP-WINGS/265108011908?hash=item3db9ab3b84:g:5H8AAOSwmX5gYTD0
