PMAN12094 Posted April 2, 2021 Share #1 Posted April 2, 2021 It’s the 134th field artillery regiment. He was part of the Ohio national guard while the Vietnam war was going on. I can’t find much or really any info from that timeframe on this unit. Sorry if the photos are a little bit blurry I don’t have any better ones right now. JustinH Posted April 3, 2021 Share #2 Posted April 3, 2021 According to the US Army Center of Military History the 134th FA was reorganized 1 April 1963 to consist of the 1st Battalion, 37th Infantry Division. Then the regiment was broken up on 15 Feb to 1 May 1968 with its elements reorganized as howitzer batteries part of 1st and 2nd squadrons, 107th Armored Cavalry. Looks like it didn't become the 134th again until 1993 when 3rd squadron, 107th ACR and the 136th FA were consolidated to form the 134th FA as part of the 28th Infantry Division. All of the 134th's lineage is here: https://history.army.mil/html/forcestruc/lineages/branches/fa/0134fa.htm
