The closest USAAF vet I found was enlisted and is name was C. Gordon Anderson, so probably not a match.

Hello!  I did some digging on find a grave, and after a while was able to find a captain who served in the right period, but I’m not sure it’s your guy. 
 

Do you have any more information, like where the cap came from?  Also, loving the bullion insignia!

Thank you both for your help in my research. To answer your Cavalcycumbing question. She comes from the USA. She was in a lot. But nothing else in information. When to your research, it may be to deepen. Captain why not. Can you give me the link of your search.
