F-86 Attitude Indicator

J-8 Artificial Horizon was used on North American F-86 and probably other aircraft of that era. Surplus units were sold cheaply in the 1960's with transistorized inverters so that they could be installed in light aircraft.

Very nice.  I just bought one of these on eBay to fill my T-33 instrument panel :)

 

I have an F-86 fuel gauge on my shelf.
