If I don't want to spend 100 on Canfield's Garand book, can anyone recommend another book on M1's please?

M1Garandy

Scott Duff's books are pretty good and relatively inexpensive.

Are you looking for historical info, or more of an owners/operators manual?

From a historical perspective, the best Garand book has not been written yet. They all have their errors/issues.

Dirt Detective

Try  "Complete Guide to the M1 Garand and the M1 Carbine"  by canfield  about $35 to $40

Thanks all for the tips.

M1Garandy historical info is my interest in this case, lots of info on the web, but I enjoy having books.
