Mitchell camo USMC shirt , real or repro ?

I picked this up in a job lot of military kit from an Americana dealer here in England.
 

I have no idea if this is replica or real , I can’t find tags / stamps / pin holes from something removed.

These custom made P56 were produced in Japan in the 50s and 60s and do exist. However, this one appears to be a reproduction.

Jakob,

  Did the ones you mention have  flimsy grey buttons that had a bad tendency to snap in half?

I personally haven’t come across any with grey flimsy buttons specifically, but I’ve had one where the buttons were fairly brittle. The quality of these really vary depending on the tailor. 
Also, just to further explain why I believe this piece is a reproduction; the biggest red flag is the synthetic thread used on the jacket. On top of that, it’s pretty much identical to the repros you can find on Amazon.
