Thoughts on These CCS MLS/S & USAF Patches - Originals?

I recently picked these up from the USAF buddy of this man who passed away.  According to the friend (who also flew in Vietnam), his friend flew O-1s in Vietnam.  It looks like one of the CCS patches is still on a flight suit.  I’m wondering if these patches are original and, if so, where were they made?  Finally, what did they signify?
