5th ID-Battle of Angers Posted March 14, 2021 Share #1 Posted March 14, 2021 Really happy to show you my last find: a M1928 haversack with a 2nd Infantry Regiment (5th Infantry Division) stencil marking ! This haversack was made by J.A. Shoe in 1942, the buckles by Waterbury Buckle Company. It is in really good shape, even if the canteen pouch is missing. Under the upper flap is the marking "CO. B. 2nd INF", affixed with a stencil. On the top flap initials are written: "TVE". There is also a "SV-128" marking in different places. I have already seen this inscription on some haversacks. Anyone know its meaning ? Thanks for reading 5th
