Austin_Militaria Posted March 12, 2021 Share #1 Posted March 12, 2021 This was found in a lot of 1950's era squadron patches. Can anyone ID it?
Siamundo Posted March 13, 2021 Share #2 Posted March 13, 2021 I have seen this identified as a pilot training class patch from Williams Air Force Base, AZ from the 1950s but I do not know which year or which class although I would guess a Class N http://www.usafupt.com/id145.htm
Randy Posted March 13, 2021 Share #3 Posted March 13, 2021 Normal Pilot Training Classes don't go all the way to N. But, anything is possible. Most likely it's a flight within one of the flying training/combat crew training squadrons if it is Williams. In the 50s Williams had a fighter training mission, so they were a little different than a pilot training base. regardless, it's a neat patch.
