ken88 Posted May 10, 2021 Share #26 Posted May 10, 2021 You could try cheap vodka in a spray bottle if you ran out of fabreeze, the alcohol supposedly helps killing off bacteria responsible for the smell. I've had some success getting rid of the musty smell in a blanket this way, but you may want to proceed with caution since this probably isn't a fail-safe method of getting rid of odors, since alcohol could dry out things like leather or heaven forbids affect colors. But go ahead and google it, there's plenty of articles to be found on how to remove odors with vodka. This probably won't get rid of all of the annoying stench but it could definitely help reduce it.
